As part of its core mandate, UNON provides the headquarters of the United Nations
Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN Programme for Human Settlements (UN-Habitat )
and all their staff worldwide with a core menu of administrative, financial and related support services,
as well as assisting the Director-General in all administrative matters relating to their overall management
and their relations with the Kenya Government. The key administrative and
financial services provided by the Division of Administrative Services also cover the staff and operations of the UNON office itself.
