MEET THE TEACHERS

CHANTAL FIAFERANA

LANGUAGE PROGRAMME COORDINATOR

Bonjour! I am Chantal Fiaferana, originally from

Madagascar, went for my studies in France, came to

Nairobi – Kenya 30 years ago after graduating in French linguistic and phonetic, to start my first job at the UN as a French language teacher, and have taken the challenge to oversee the Language Program coordination few years ago.

My journey with the students is amazing and I am so

grateful for their enthusiasm, participation and willingness to learn more even after completing with their last level of class, to join advanced conversation class. The students get to know each other, will laugh together with their mistakes without taking it personally and made even our journey so memorable.

As you are reading this short presentation, come along to enjoy the journey with us.

À bientôt!

I enjoy teaching and sharing my love for French language and culture, French gastronomy is one of my favorite topics. When I’m not in the classroom or improving my skills, I love traveling, discovering other cultures, skiing, practicing yoga, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
